Portrait Play showcases the imaginative creations of Springdale Elementary students, highlighting their artistic prowess and boundless creativity. Under the guidance and inspiration of renowned local artist Deb Durban, students have produced an impressive array of artworks, each reflecting their unique perspectives and artistic styles.

Deb Durban, celebrated for her expertise in collage portraits, landscapes, and three-dimensional art, has played a pivotal role in guiding and inspiring the young artists throughout their creative journey. Under her mentorship, students have explored various artistic techniques and mediums, resulting in an eclectic collection of artworks that are sure to captivate audiences.

The exhibition features three distinct types of portraits created by the students, showcasing their versatility and ingenuity. From collage portraits crafted with magazine and paper cuttings to wooden collage portraits and portraits made with LEGO building blocks, each piece offers a glimpse into the students’ creative process and artistic
expression.
