If you missed the artist reception with Djibril N’Doye, you missed a real treat!  He personally went around with nearly everyone who attended and told them about every work of art.  His inspiration, what he was depicting, what he experienced, and why he chose those subjects.  His lovely wife told fond stories about the pieces they were not quite ready to let go of yet, the ones they wanted to enjoy for just a while longer.  And they stayed long after the reception was over making sure everyone who attended had not only a fun and educational evening, but left having experienced a different world, that of the Labou tribe of Senegal in West Africa.
