Chamber Music Artistic Director: Jason Bonham

Bonnie Romkey is a graduate of BYU where she received a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy. She has studied violin with Nell Gotkovsky, Dr. Ralph Matson, and the Drinkall-Baker Duo, and chamber music at the Chamber Music Conference of the East in Bennington VT. She won first prize at the Utah advanced violin competition in 1992, and has performed regularly with Barlow Bradford’s Utah Chamber Artists, and recorded television and movie soundtracks with L.A. East Studios. She was concertmaster and soloist with the Southwest Symphony Orchestra from 2004-2006, as well as for a Temple Square Christmas Concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in 1998. A violin teacher since age 11, Bonnie has a private studio based in Santa Clara, UT, where she teaches violin to students from around the globe via Skype. She presently studies with Calvin Wiersma of The Manhattan String Quartet.

Urs Rutishauser studied violin with Vera Barstow in Pasadena, and chamber music at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, Cleveland Institute of Music, and Chamber Music Conference of the East in Bennington VT. He was concertmaster and soloist with the Brown University Orchestra and Brown Chamber Soloists from 1963-1967. Urs currently lives in Saint George and works as a research neuroscientist in Manhattan, NY. He enjoys organizing and participating in chamber music events in New York, at his home in Saint George, and at an annual retreat in Moab UT for string players from all around the country.

Linda Ghidossi-DeLuca – With BM and MM Degrees in Viola and Violin Musical Performance from The Juilliard School in New York, Linda is an Adjunct Instructor at Dixie State University, and the String Orchestra Director at Vista Charter School in Ivins. She has has taught students of all ages in universities, public and charter schools and maintains a private studio in St. George, Utah. She has built string orchestra programs in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, California, Kanab and Ivins, Utah. Recently Ms. Ghidossi-DeLuca has instructed at the Tuacahn School of Performing Arts Summer Program, the Dixie State University Summer Program. Previously, Linda was the founder and director (for over twenty years) of the Santa Rosa Symphony Young People’s Chamber Orchestra and has been invited back for three Summer Music Festivals. In 2003, Linda toured with the Dixie Chicks on their Top of the World Tour.

Jessika Soli received her bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance from the University of Utah in 2012 where she studied with John Eckstein. She has also studied with Andrew Smith at UNLV and Daniel Gainsford. She also has recorded with many local artist in Southern Utah. In 2012 she performed with the Utah Philharmonic chamber Orchestra in London. Jessika is currently the Principal Cellist with the southwest symphony in St. George and has a private studio in Santa Clara where she teaches cello.
