Jason is a St. George resident, Combat Veteran, and Purple Heart recipient. He has found healing through the outdoors as a Wilderness Therapy Guide working with adults coping with trauma, addiction, and PTSD. He has found balance in the wilderness though hiking, mountaineering, climbing, and through landscape photography. As a Combat Veteran, he has worked with Veterans nationwide in hopes that they find their place in the world while working through combat-related stresses. Jason’s life-long goal is to reach as many people as he can through his photography to encourage people to step out of their comfort zones and dark places in life and into the wilderness to find balance, tranquility, and enjoyment in life. It is no secret that Jason has seen some dark places in his lifetime and rather than being a statistic, he has decided to channel his emotions into his work while helping others along their way to achieve greatness.

Jason’s extensive knowledge with digital photography earned him his first award at the St. George Art Festival in April of 2019; which was his first major art festival. Since then, he has travelled extensively to expand his portfolio capturing beautiful landscapes nationwide. He also conducts individual and group workshops throughout the year all over the United States. You will find extensive detail throughout his images thanks to a process that he incorporates into much of his work. Many of his images are a multitude of images combined together to create one final image with amazing depth and detail. He is familiar with many models of digital cameras, but he is partial to Sony, Canon, and Sigma products. Photography is a full-time job for Jason and has worked hard to gain over 40,000 followers through his Instagram and Facebook social media outlets. His printed images can be found on high-definition metal that he has printed locally or on gallery-finished acrylics.
